Last blossoms for this season

The last cherry blossoms for this season. This was the only branch of the tree that still had the blossoms.
We happened across it while we were roaming around amongst the fields.
Its quite a poignant setting actually with the memorials behind and the single branch of blossoms.

I think cherry blossoms and apple blossom trees are the most beautiful trees around. It's a shame that their flowers don't stay for long.

Yes cherry blossoms are beautiful,in my excitement I forgot to click the plum blossoms! They are wonderful too.
