Just the place for an evening out
July 2006
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo
There is something about wood and yellow lighting that always gets me !
Bamboo grove
July 2006
Imperial Palace Gardens, TokyoThe gardens were mostly a verdant display, all shades of green one can think off.
However in bits and pieces there were shots of color to break the monotony of the green.
Here's one such shot of color.
Beauty around us!
July 2006
Imperial Gardens, TokyoThe elements for a good picture are all around us! Finding them and composing them is where the skill lies I suppose. I loved the colors on these leaves. They make a stunning contrast on the black asphalt.
Light and Lines
July 2006
Roppongi, TokyoI thought I would get lots of pictures in Tokyo but the going is proving to be quite tough! The weather hasn't helped at all, first it was the scorching heat and for the last couple of days lots of rain. But today was a great day weatherwise!
This is a simple picture really. But I really liked the light. Its the ceiling of a building parking or something.
Freaky!!
July 2006
Roppongi, TokyoOK this has to be the ugliest thing I have posted so far. Per se it is the ugliest sight I have seen in Japan. I just increased the color saturation to bring out the "freakiness". The shop might be interesting though, "FREAK BROTHERS" !!!
Creativity in the City

Isn't that one endearing puppy? A pity its all metal.
The puppy was guarding a small cafe menu, a sure fire way to get customers to at least look at the menu!
At Sagurigawa dam
June 2006
Urasa , Japan
Sagurigawa Dam is a short drive from Urasa. The road to this point is absolutely gorgeous in Spring/Summer, a lazy uphill route with lush greenery all around.
This water body, I am not sure if its really functional. It is one hell of a visual though and I can just stand on the bridge doing nothing but listening to the water. Just drink in all the sights and sounds.
